Think Big to Make Big Money Online

Alright. So you're about to become an internet millionaire, right? Here is the question for you: what makes you think you can do it? People who are poor would come up with an answer like: "Because I'm smart and I'm willing to work hard." If that's the way you think, you've got a big problem. This is the way of thinking that will keep you poor all your life. If you're willing to work for your money, it means that you want to be selling your most valuable resource - time. Rich people don't sell their time. They sell their ideas in form of systems. Poor people often confuse business with job. Many people who call themselves businessmen don't even realize that in fact they are self-employed full time workers at the job they've created themselves. So, what's business then?  The business is a system that you can leave for years, and when you come back you find it even bigger and better that it had been before you left. Whatever your business is, be it a blog, a portal, or e-shop, you need to build it the way that it does not require you to be spending time once it's done. Focus on creating internet assets instead of online jobs. 

For example, a blog for which you write posts everyday is a job. It can be a profitable job, but it will never make you rich. On the other hand, ebay is a system. The person who makes the most money out of it doesn't have to do anything to keep it going. There are people who are responsible for marketing, hosting services, moderation, security, customer service, etc. This is a strong system that will grow over time, no matter what. The owner of the site is making lots of money without having to do anything to keep the site alive. The site might not be perfect, and I'm sure it could have been done much better, but the system is perfect, and nothing else really matters. Look at McDonald's. Do they provide high quality burgers? No, I'm sure you could make a better burger at home, couldn't you? But it is McDonald who is rich, not you. It's because McDonald created a perfect system that can be multiplied infinitely and applied in any part of the world. Your burger might be better, but you don't have a system that monetizes it. When it comes to online businesses, it's the same. No matter how hard you're willing to work, you have only 24h to spend each day. You need to spend your time ONLY on creating independent systems - that's the only way to get rich.

The truth is, rich people are lazy, and that's why they became rich. Of course, I don't mean that they became rich by staring at the TV all day long. Laziness that will make you rich is in fact not agreeing to do the job that could be done by somebody else. See, rich people are hard thinkers, poor people are hard workers. You can't work all day long because you will end up having no time for thinking. You should not allow yourself to do the task that somebody else could do better than you. Rich people always have teams of highly trained people that can perform highly specialized tasks in professional way. Another rule to remember is that if you don't feel like doing something, leave it for people who LOVE doing it. What I'm trying to say is that being rich has nothing to do with exploiting other people, or making them do "the dirty job" for you. Being rich involves creating a team in which every person does what he/she loves doing, and at the same time, is a specialist at this specific task. 

Rich people don't consider themselves smart. Smart people usually end up working for dumb people who are willing to pay for their proficiency in a specific subject. You should be the one who pays other people for specific services that they are expert at. Don't try to do everything yourself. Remember, rich people work in team, poor people do everything alone. You can't be internet marketer, programmer, and content provider at once. It will suffice if you hire people who are the best at those fields. You don't really have to be an expert in anything. Admit that you know nothing about the subject, and everything will become way easier. It takes years to learn how to successfully promote websites online. It takes even more to become a good writer or programmer. Let other people do what they enjoy doing and focus on building a good team instead of trying to become a pro at the field you know nothing about. Treat your internet business like a business, not a hobby. Learning programming, internet marketing, search engine optimization, etc. can be a lot of fun for some people. But that's not what will make you reach. That's what will make you a good employee!

Many people who enter the realm of making money online fail to think that they will earn a lot of money without having to spend a dime. Well, although there are exceptions, it's basically unreal. If you want to make pennies, you need to invest pennies. If you want to make a lot of money, be ready to spend a lot of money first. First of all, you need to understand that time is your most valuable resource. If you plan to make millions with no money spent, it means that you're going to be a hard self-employed worker. That's not the way to get rich! Be prepared to spend money, but do it in a smart way. Hire people that can make this investment pay off. Have a long time perspective and don't expect your spendings to come back to you within days. It takes time, but it will be much worth it! Poor people can't think ahead, and hence they end up implementing only those ideas that pay off immediately. Those ideas either don't work at all, or bring very little money. Instead of focusing on saving money, think of earning money. Creating a system that generates income is more important than saving a couple of bucks. If you want to make BIG money, you need to hire experts that can take care of marketing, search engine optimization, creating content, etc. Don't be afraid to invest money, even if you won't see it back for a couple of years. That's the main difference in thinking between rich and poor. Rich people take decisions that will bring results in a couple of years. Poor people take decisions that will pay off immediately, which more often happens to be a full time job. 

What if you don't have money? Should you become a self-employed worker first? No. That's what a poor person would do. There are many ways to do it differently, but it requires you to think on a different level. How about looking for an investor? Making a business plan and taking a loan from the bank? How about hiring people that are willing to work for you for a percentage of your further income? Change your thinking and you'll see that making BIG money online is just as hard as making SMALL money. So, why not go for BIG?
